We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the only divinely inspired and infallible revelation of God. It is our ultimate guide and final authority in matters pertaining to faith and life. (2 Timothy 3: 16,17, 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who is creator and upholder of all things. (Genesis 1: 1,26; John 1: 1-3; Hebrews 11:3; Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1: 15-17; Matthew 3: 16, 17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, truly God, truly Man, His conception by the Holy Spirit, His birth of the Virgin Mary, His real but sinless humanity, His voluntary humiliation in life as a Man of Sorrows culminating in His substitutionary and atoning death as a sacrifice for sin, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven as the only and eternal mediator between God and man and His coming again in power and glory. We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit through whom we are born again to saving repentance and faith and by whom we are sanctified, enabled to live a godly life and equipped to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 5:3,4; Titus 3:5; John 3: 3-5; Romans 8: 2; Ephesians 5:18)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are available to all believers. (Acts 2:4; Acts 19: 1-7; Acts 8: 14-17)

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that the saved partake of eternal life now and will be raised for final judgment. (Ephesians 2: 8-9; 1 John 5: 11-12; John 3:36; John 5:24)

We believe that man in consequence of the Fall is utterly sinful, therefore lost and the unsaved will be raised for final judgment. (Matthew 25: 31-46; Revelation 20: 11-15

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 3: 20-24; Romans 5: 9; 1 John 5: 11-12)

A sacrament is an outward and visible sign of an inward and invisible grace. We acknowledge two sacraments, Baptism and the Lord's Supper, which were instituted by Christ to be a perpetual obligation as signs and seals of the covenant ratified in His precious blood, as means of grace, by which, working in us, He does not only quicken our faith, but also strengthens and comforts our faith in Him and as ordinances through the observance of which His church is to confess her Lord and be visibly distinguished from the rest of the world.

with water into the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit is the sacrament by which are signified and sealed Baptism with water in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit is the sacrament which signifies and seals our union to Christ and participation in the blessings of the New Covenant. The proper subjects of Baptism are believers and children presented by their parents or guardians who are in the Christian faith. In the latter case, the parents or guardians should train up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and should expect that their children will, by the operation of the Holy Spirit, come to a personal knowledge of Christ and receive the benefits which the sacrament is designed and fitted to convey. The Church is under the most solemn obligation to provide for their Christian instruction. Dedication of infants may also be accepted as an alternative to Baptism if chosen by their parents or guardians.

is the sacrament of communion, with Christ and with His people, in which bread and wine are given and received in thankful remembrance of Him and His sacrifice on the Cross. They who in faith receive the same, after a spiritual manner, do partake of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ to their comfort, nourishment and growth in grace. All may be admitted to the Lord's Supper who make a credible profession of their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, who seek to be obedient to His commands and who earnestly repent of their sins. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

We believe in the spiritual unity of all who truly trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and thereby enter the only universal church, which is the Body of Christ. Although the visible Church may contain unworthy members and is liable to err, yet believers ought not lightly to separate themselves from its communion, but are to live in fellowship with their brethren, which fellowship is to be extended, as God gives opportunity, to all who in every place call upon the name of the Lord Jesus. (Romans 12:5, Ephesians 1:23,4:12, Colossians 1:24)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the church and that every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs. (Colossians 1: 18; 2: 19)

Ministry is the responsibility of using God's gifts to His glory in the service of others through the operation of God's grace. He bestows gifts upon each member of the Body of Christ and thus each member of the body has been called to a ministry. We believe that Jesus Christ, as the Supreme Head of the church, has appointed therein a ministry of the Word and Sacraments, and calls men and women to this ministry; that the church, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, recognizes and chooses those whom He calls and should thereupon duly ordain them to the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:7-20; 1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12:1-8)

We believe that we are encouraged continuously to draw near to God, our Heavenly Father, in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ and on our own behalf and that of others to pour out our hearts humbly yet freely before Him, as becomes His beloved children, giving Him the honour and praise due His holy name, asking Him to glorify Himself on earth as in heaven, confessing unto Him our sins and seeking of Him every gift needful for this life and for our everlasting salvation. We believe also, that in as much that all true prayer is prompted by the Holy Spirit, He will in response grant us every blessing according to His unsearchable wisdom and the riches of His grace in Jesus Christ. (Matthew 6: 5-13)

We believe that all human life, no matter the age, is sacred and that life begins at conception. Children are a blessing from God. It is fitting that Christian parents present their children for Baptism or Dedication for the glory of God. It is the responsibility of parents, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in the fellowship of the church to bring up their children in the love of and reverence for the Lord Jesus Christ. (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4; Psalm 139)

We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and this "blessed hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. (Jude 14,15; 1 John 2:28; Matthew 24,25; 1 Thessalonians 4:14,17)

We believe in the resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord and of the unbeliever to judgment and eternal separation from God. (John 5:28; 1 Corinthians 15; Revelation 20:12, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-16)

We believe that it is our duty as disciples and servants of Christ, to further the extension of His Kingdom, to do good unto all men, to maintain the public and private worship of God, to hallow the Lord's Day, to preserve the inviolability of marriage between one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others and the sanctity of the family, to uphold the just authority of the State, and so to live in all honesty, purity and charity, that our lives shall testify of Christ. We joyfully receive the word of Christ, bidding His people to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, declaring unto them that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, and that He will have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth. We confidently believe that by His power and grace all His enemies shall finally be overcome and the kingdoms of this world be made the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ. (Matthew 28: 18-20; Revelation 21:1-4; 2 Peter 3:9)
